About the Novel:

Set between 1881 and 1960, The Queen of New York follows two generations of Jewish women whose lives intersect with some of the defining social justice movements of modern America—from Eastern European pogroms and the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire to women’s suffrage, labor organizing, an:d the Civil Rights Movement. At its heart, The Queen of New York is a literary coming-of-age novel and a multigenerational story of resistance, courage, identity, and forbidden love.

The Queen of New York was a Silver Medal winner of the 2026 Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY) in LGBTQ+ Fiction.
